PERSONAL AND INDUSTRIAL SECURITY
AUTOMATED INFORMATION SYSTEM
The system “Personal and Industrial Security” has been designed to computerize the processing
of information for issuance of security certificates and permissions for classified information
access. During the system realization were considered the personal and industrial security
requirements of the Classified Information Protection Law and the Regulations for its
administration. The system is designed to support the activities of the Security Services, the
Public Order Cervices and the organization units where classified information is processed.

Functional characteristics
:
§ Entry of data for contracts/tasks, the subject of which contains or
imposes access to classified information that is a state secret;
§ Entry of data for the contracting authorities under
contracts;
§ Entry of data for natural and legal persons – applying to be
contractors under contracts;
§ Entry of data for reliability investigation cases for legal and
natural persons – dealers applying for issuance of reliability certificates (refusal,
withdrawal);
§ Creation of documents for investigations after templates, stored in
the system, related to industrial security; entry of data for the documents and delays in the
cases for reliability investigation;
§ Automated entry to the respective file the result of the
investigation;
§ Creation and maintenance of registers: for investigated legal and
natural persons for issuance of liability certificates; for legal and natural persons to whom
liability certificates have been issued; for legal and natural persons to whom issuance of
liability certificates has been refused;
§ Entry of data for the candidates for an official post or for
performance of a task, the purpose of which is investigation for reliability, and issuance of
permission for access to a definite classification level;
§ Creation and printout of queries about persons from various
information funds;
§ Entry of data for investigation cases about persons;
§ Creation of documents after templates, which are necessary for
investigation of persons and entry of the data for their registration;
§ Updating of input data about contracts/tasks, contracting
authorities under contracts, candidate-contractors under contracts, reliability investigation
cases, and documents and persons investigated for reliability;
§ Creation and use of procedures for monitoring, organization and
control of performed investigations;
§ Performance of universal queries by characteristics about:
o Contracts/tasks;
o Legal persons and natural persons – dealers that are investigated
for issuance of reliability certificates or confirmation;
o Persons investigated for access permission;
o Reliability investigation cases;
o Documents.
§ Performance of statistical activities (definition, performance and
printout of statistical tables);
§ Automatic maintenance of the system journal with data for the
executed in the system authorized of unauthorized activities, possibility for check up in the
journal;
§ Use of national classifiers and user nomenclatures;
§ Built-in tools for system data protection. Automatic database
control;
§ Options for operation in a certified local network for classified
information transmission;
§ Possibility for exchange of data and documents with other
information systems in XML format

Platform
independence
:
The system “Personal and Industrial Security” operates under the management of various
operating systems - UNIX, Linux, Windows 2003, XP, 2000, NT, 98, etc.
The system works with relational Data Base Management Systems in accordance with the SQL ANSI
standard - Oracle, Informix, SyBase, MS SQL Server , etc.
